I am Mercedes Bendeck, a passionate event planner and hospitality expert, dedicated to helping you ELEVATE your ideas and transform them into exceptional experiences.
I earned my degree in International Business and Hospitality Management from The George Washington University in Washington D.C, with studies in Paris and Madrid.
I offer nearly two decades of broad event planning and hospitality experience. Among the places I have worked are the historic Willard Hotel in Washington, D.C., Real Hotels and Resorts in Honduras, both InterContinental Hotel Group (IHG) properties, The Heritage Foundation, and with the renowned celebrity chef José Andres at his flagship restaurant, Jaleo, in Washington, D.C.
My realm of experience encompasses corporate event management, foreign dignitary functions, grand openings, team-building retreats, and weddings, both locally and abroad.
The little details matter, they are what make the difference.
My multicultural heritage, a blend of Honduran, Colombian, American, and Middle Eastern descent, fluent in English and Spanish, infuses a unique richness and depth into my work. My creative process weaves together these international flavors, music, and colors to transform your ideas into impactful moments.
